My first leg of the trip? Fayetteville to Maryland/ D.C. By train. It was a long 8 hour ride filled after saying goodbyes. But the beautiful scenery, good stories from my seat mate, and the anticipation of getting to my destination helped.
after my seat mate left I had it all to myself for the rest of the trip! score.
Yes, there were screaming kids too, people blaring their rap music for all to hear, rudeness smacking their food, some sleeping, & some with blood shot eyes trying their hardest to NOT. Fall. Asleep. LOL. <----- That was me. (One thing that stinks about traveling solo is you either A. have to take ALL your belongings with you to the bathroom, or B. Take valuables, leave the rest, pray hard, pee fast.)
water is always so peaceful to me
Arrival: 8:40 pm.
Lost in the sauce at Union Station.
Yes me, “oh but you've traveled the world! At least these signs are in English”...let me tell you, that doesn't even matter. After getting to Maryland my broski picked me up and immediately took me for food. I was a bit hungry...... Okay, a lot hangry. But he forgave me, because he's generous like that.
Next day I woke up early and decided to workout/explore around the area to a park, clean some of his bachelorpad and work on this pup (my blog that is).
Shipped out at 7 pm to the great lakes!
“Here we gooooo!” (in Mario's voice)
yes. I'm wrapping on the car ride over!
